Basil's Room!
Yes I know it's technically called a nursery, but I just call it her room. It has quickly become my very favorite place in our home and I've been having so much fun getting it ready! Probably too much fun because I'm sure there are other things I could be doing or spending money on, but here I am! *shrug* Anyway, I'm excited to share some inspiration with you first!
Vision Board for Basil's Room! Except it's no longer a vision board and it's more like a reality board because we bought everything and are now in the process of putting it all together! Links below!
4. Locker (IKEA doesn't carry this anymore, but I linked one similar)
5. Pouf
6. Oranges Baby Quilt (Funny story—I bought this quilt very early in my pregnancy, before I even KNEW I was pregnant! Because I had a dream that our future child would have a citrus-themed nursery and then I saw this quilt on a Facebook ad.... It got me!!!)
8. Jungle Praying Mantis Art Print
10. Lamp
11. Crib
Feel free to message me if you have any questions about the products we bought! These are all things I bought with my own money and aren't sponsored in any way (I wish!!!!) so I will be completely honest about them as I share our progress! So far, everything has been up to our standards in terms of quality and design, though we obviously haven't really used anything yet! But I'll definitely keep you updated!
In my next post, I'm going to share some actual real progress photos! But for now, I'll leave you with a BEFORE pic of her room. Brand new, all white, and with cold, hard, not-so-welcoming poured concrete floors!
We originally thought we'd use our second room as some kind of studio and loved the idea of the concrete floors. But now we're having a baby so we needed to warm things up a bit and add in some softness with new flooring! I'll share a bit more about that process in my next post, but I will say that installing the new vinyl plank floors over the concrete was super easy and we did it in less than a day! And by we, I mean my brother did them for us, but he made it look pretty easy :)
Stay tuned for more cuteness!
