Letter Writing Month Recap
30 letters/cards/notes in 30 days!
Welp, I did it! I wrote every single day. I can't even describe my hand cramp right now, but so worth it! Writing notes to people is something I already love to do, although I've never done it everyday. Sometimes it's a lot easier to articulate what you're feeling by writing it down and it's one of the most simple ways to tell someone how much you care about them. I'm so grateful to have so many friends that I can write to—and who write me back!—that's really what made it fun.
I have to say it's pretty cool to see all 30 of my letters in a grid! I'm so glad I was able to document my journey, it makes it feel so much more impactful.
Even though Letter Writing Month may be over do not let it stop you from putting pen to paper! Maybe it's a note to a close friend or a maybe to a stranger who is having a tough time and can really use some encouraging words. Words are so powerful, which is becoming more and more evident in today's society. Words have the power to hurt, but they have even more power to heal and spread love.
Think about it, don't you love getting mail? I mean, not including bills and credit card offers. But isn't it nice when someone takes the time to send you something? A birthday card, an invitation, a Christmas card, or a little note just because.
Hopefully this post and my journey will inspire you to take 5 minutes to make someone else's day, you never know just how much they'll need it. Write on!
